报告摘要：In this talk, we will introduce a notion of what we call formal manifolds and discuss some of their basic properties. This is based on a series of works joint with Binyong Sun and Chuyun Wang.

报告人简介：陈福林，厦门大学（副）教授，博士毕业于厦门大学，中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院博士后。在李理论，具体包括李群、无穷维李代数、顶点代数和量子代数的结构和表理论等均取得优秀成果，文章发表高水平科研文献20余篇，杂志包括Transactions of the American Mathematical Society，International Mathematics Research Notices，Canadian Journal of Mathematics，Israel Journal of Mathematics，Representation Theory，Journal of Algebra等。主持国家基金两项，包括面上项目、青年科学基金项目。
